ABOUT JAMIE
“I am fascinated by your story, and that’s part of what makes me a great therapist.”
What’s my experience?
I hold Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and have been practicing in the field for over ten years. I’m a level one certified Gottman therapist.
I hold a certification in Perinatal Mood Disorders through Postpartum Support International.
I also offer supervision, consultation, and workshops. I’ve written a few articles that you can check out here.
What do my clients think about me?
Clients have told me that I ask the right questions; ones that get at the heart of things and that perhaps they haven’t thought about before. They feel that I’m real in the room, and have a sense of humor. I won’t just nod and say “tell me how that makes you feel.” I’m curious about people and love to hear their stories. People tell me that I’m compassionate and non-judgemental.
I’m warm, accepting, and intuitive. I’m a married mother of two young children. I’ve been listening and attuning to others’ emotions my entire life.
I believe:
everyone deserves to feel heard,
every human is valuable,
we all want to be understood.
I also believe in your potential to be your very best self. I’ll help you do this by asking you the questions that get to the heart of what’s going on. I won’t tell you what to do, but will guide you in finding your own answers.
Rates & Forms
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 415-326-6354.
