If you’re currently pregnant or want to become pregnant, chances are you could use some support. Pregnancy, although a joyful time for many women, can also be fraught with anxiety, physical discomfort, and of course hormonal fluctuations. If you’ve had a difficult time becoming pregnant, or are still trying, you might be especially anxious. I can help you sort through the maze of feelings and begin to prepare for the birth of your child. Some things we might work on include:
- Relaxation techniques
- Preparing your relationship for the new addition
- Resolving issues relating to your own parents
- A birth plan
- Envisioning yourself as the mother you’d like to be
Although parts of pregnancy and childbirth can be out of your own control, I do believe that you can influence your own experience and be mindful about your intentions. I will assist you in doing just that; helping to create the pre and post-natal experiences you envision.
