Take care of yourself too.

You’re doing your best. And your best is good enough. Is motherhood not what you expected it to be? It can be hard to admit, but feeling less than blissed out is completely normal, and it does NOT make you a bad mom! I’m a mom too, and I get it. I can help you stop criticizing yourself and start being your best self.

Feel connected again.

Do you feel like your partner just doesn’t get you? Maybe you can’t seem to communicate without fighting, or perhaps you’re facing a major transition and just need a little guidance. I help couples re-evaluate their expectations of one another and get on the same page about what they want their relationship to feel like.

ABOUT ME

I’m warm, accepting, and intuitive. I’m a married mother of two young children. I’ve been listening and attuning to others’ emotions my entire life.

I believe:

  • everyone deserves to be heard.

  • every human is valuable.

  • we all want to be understood.

I also believe in your potential to be your very best self. I’ll help you do this by asking you the questions that get to the heart of what’s going on. I won’t tell you what to do, but will guide you in finding your own answers.

“I am fascinated by your story, and that’s part of what makes me a great therapist.”

What do my clients think about me?

Clients have told me that I ask the right questions; ones that get at the heart of things and that perhaps they haven’t thought about before. They feel that I’m real in the room, and have a sense of humor. I won’t just nod and say “tell me how that makes you feel.” I’m curious about people and love to hear their stories. People tell me that I’m compassionate and non-judgemental.

Jamie helped my husband and I improve our communication methods which strengthened our relationship. We saw her regularly for a year and now we do ad hoc sessions as needed. She has equipped us with the language to be better partners and empowered us to be better individuals while doing so. She provided an infinite amount of wisdom for us. Over the years I have recommended her to extended family and friends as well. She is thoughtful, authentic, and the perfect counselor for my family. Thanks, Jamie.
